Delete your account and data
How to delete your account
You can delete your My Treat account in either of these ways:
- In the app - open Settings, then tap Delete My Account, and confirm.
- By email - write to support@mytreat.club from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We complete the deletion after confirming it is your account.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It cannot be undone, so please be sure before you confirm.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, we remove the following right away:
- Your profile and personal information (name, email address, phone number if provided, city, and date of birth)
- Your profile photos
- Your posts and listings
- Your reviews
- The chat rooms you took part in, along with the messages in them
What is kept, and for how long
A limited amount of data may be retained after deletion:
- Safety and abuse reports may be retained for up to 2 years for moderation, safety, and legal reasons.
- Some data may be kept in anonymized form for analytics, which can no longer identify you.
- Information we are required to retain by law or legal process.

Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by My Treat. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription - cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings. See Support for steps.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific content. From within the app you can:
- Delete a post or listing - open the post, tap the ... menu, and choose Delete.
- Remove a profile photo - open Edit Profile and remove the photo.
- Delete a review you wrote - open the review and choose Delete.
